Our family went out to Lake Mead. It is HUGE!
We found a "beach", no sand just lots of rocks and dirt.
We found that half of Las Vegas had the same idea.
We found the wind was awful ~ gale force people.
We found the dirt flying through the air and coating EVERYONE who was smart enough to wear sunscreen.
The water was blue and clear... it is straight off the Rocky Mtn. snow run-off... so it was COLD.
We found it HOT HOT HOT! (the wind down off the open desert and it was HOT too.)
