1. I don't have to plan for rain - planned a week ago to get the yard in shape and well the weather "cooperated". (that made me giggle) We were able to get up and get the yard done. Weeding, pruning shrubs and cutting off the saplings that were trying to take over the tree.
2. Misty Trails Park. Only about a mile from our rental. Big, COVERED, play structure and a HUGE water park too. Wading pool with sprayers and fun water features... all FREE.
3. The previous tenant received a coupon for 20% off at Bed, Bath and Beyond. I took her coupon there today and got the girl's adorably cute matching bedding for the new house.
BB&B is located within the shopping center that has my Walmart, Costco and Boston Creme... :o)
4. Picked out all the paint colors for the new house today. Getting excited planning where everything is going to go... Grateful that we have a Lowe's so close.
5. Today was HOT and although I have already used it on my 5-list before... here we go again. A/C ~ thank you modern day marvel. You keep me sane. 'Nuff said.
