My family is all here. I was born, raised and thought I'd stay here in this humble valley all my days... but I guess there is a new plan.
Our kiddos toggle between being excited, nervous and defiant. The Tank is fine as long as his animals and his bike can come. Tiny-T is oblivious to most of this and just wonders why most of her toys are now packed away. Fan-C loves the idea of being closer to Stanley cousins that are her age but then does not want to leave her family and friends here. She told me this morning that she was going to have to tell her TEN boyfriends that she will be leaving them. I asked her how she thought they would take the news. She sighed and said, "Mom, some of them may cry." I had to pinch my arm to keep from busting out laughing. She was so serious. I told her she could hold off on having to share the news and breaking all those little guys hearts ~ she has time to tell them after the house sells. She is such a crack up. Lance has worked with a friend of ours and redone our master bath (replaced the full size shower). He has repaired holes, dings and the Tank's lovely destruction mess on his walls. He has painted throughout, helped me pack and on Saturday will be helping me to have the final staging done! Wow!!!! He is amazing. I do not handle not knowing where we are going to be living and the unknown very well... he has been very calming for me. He is excited and it is beginning to rub off onto me a wee bit. JUST a wee bit.
Selling our house is fine. I'm not really feeling very sad about leaving it. BUT, I am an emotional wreck over having to sell this:
THE STANLEY VACATION MOBILE!
So, I'm off to walk on this new adventure... I'm walkin' by faith!
